DMA 200 (200-Day Moving Average) is a long-term technical indicator that calculates the average closing price of a stock or index over the last 200 days. Significance of DMA 200: 1. Long-Term Trend Indicator: If the stock price is above the 200 DMA, it indicates a long-term uptrend. If the stock price is below the 200 DMA, it suggests a long-term downtrend. 2. Support & Resistance: The 200 DMA often acts as a strong support during bull markets. In bear markets, it can act as a resistance level. 3. Golden Cross & Death Cross: Golden Cross: When the 50 DMA crosses above the 200 DMA → Bullish signal. Death Cross: When the 50 DMA crosses below the 200 DMA → Bearish signal.
