Early Uptrend Momentum Stocks This screen identifies stocks in the early stages of an uptrend, confirmed by strong price action and rising volume. Stocks are required to be trading above both their 50-day and 200-day moving averages, within 15% of their 52-week high, and at least 20% above their 52-week low. Volume is also rising, with the 1-week average exceeding the 1-month average, and liquidity is ensured with a 1-month average volume of over 200,000 shares. Additionally, stocks must have solid fundamentals with ROE > 12% and Profit Growth > 7% over the past 3 years.
