This query is a post-market / pre-market watchlist selector for intraday momentum-ready NSE stocks. It does not give buy/sell signals; it only filters for stocks that are liquid, unusually active, already moving, and structurally strong enough to continue moving intraday. Query (what it’s doing, line-by-line) Current price > 100 Removes penny/low-price stocks (usually noisier, wider spreads). Market Capitalization >= 5000 Keeps you in mid/large caps; avoids illiquid microcaps and operator-driven moves. Volume 1month average >= 500000 Liquidity floor: ensures the stock normally trades meaningful quantity daily (better intraday fills/slippage). Volume >= 2 * Volume 1month average Core “abnormal volume” condition: today’s volume is at least 2× its typical recent daily volume → strong participation. Volume 1week average >= 1.2 * Volume 1month average Confirms participation is not just a single-day spike; interest is elevated across the last week too (better next-day continuity). (Return over 1week >= 2 OR Return over 1week <= -2) Ensures the stock has recent travel / volatility expansion (at least ~2% move over the week, either direction). Filters out dead consolidations. ( Current price > DMA 50 OR 52w Index >= 80 OR From 52w high <= 0.10 ) Price structure / strength filter (any one is enough): Current price > DMA 50: above a trend reference (bias toward stronger structure). 52w Index >= 80: stock is in the top ~20% of its 52-week range (relative strength). From 52w high <= 0.10: within ~10% of its 52-week high (leaders / near-high setups). (Return over 1day >= 0.5 OR Return over 1day <= -0.5) Adds directional intent today: at least 0.5% move vs previous close (removes flat/no-trade days).
