Degree of Operating Leverage - Latest.

The screen determines the companies which have a significant degree of operating leverage which can generate sales with a high gross margin and low variable costs. These companies are in the best position to take advantage of a booming economy. It filters out companies that are conservatively financed (Debt to equity less than 1), have a stable operating profit margin (greater than 15) and has reasonable ROE and ROCE (both greater than 10). It primarily considers revenue and profit growth and selects the company which doesn’t require high incremental costs to increase its revenue.
