KPL, part of the Ostwal Group of Industries, is the only private group in India with a fully integrated process to convert low-grade rock phosphate into high-grade rock phosphate for complex fertiliser production. It is India’s 2nd largest SSP and 4th largest Phosphatic fertiliser producer in India, holding a 16%+ (previously it was 35%) market share in Chhattisgarh and 6%+(previously it was 20%) in Madhya Pradesh. KPL markets fertilisers under the brands Annadata (SSP) and Bharat (NPK/DAP complex).[2]
