Business Overview:[1]
a) BLAL is an offshoot of BEML, formed through a 1:1 ratio share issue to existing BEML shareholders. The Government of India is strategically disinvesting 26% of its equity stake in BEML Limited and transferring management control. Management believes separating and placing BEML's non-core assets into an independent entity will facilitate this process and unlock business value.
