Company was promoted by Modi Group jointly with Rohm & Haas, United States of America and UPSIDC. It used to run Modipon Fibers unit which manufactured Carbon Nanofiber, Coir Fiber, Fiber Sheets, Cement Fiber Board, Fiber Glass, Carbon Fiber, Sisal Fiber. This unit was permanently closed down on 8th September, 2007 after getting permission from Government of Uttar Pradesh under provisions of the Uttar Pradesh Industrial Disputes Act, 1947. At present, company is exploring to develop a new real estate project in Modinagar as this would help liquidating its huge liabilities and utilize surplus amount for taking up new business activity. Company is waiting for approvals from UP Government
